Open Enrollment 2027

Marketplace Open Enrollment is the annual opportunity to apply for, renew, or change individual and family health coverage for the coming year. CMS guidance for 2027 coverage lists the federal Marketplace enrollment period as November 1 through December 15, 2026, for coverage beginning January 1, 2027. State Marketplace schedules can differ; confirm the current deadline with HealthCare.gov or your state Marketplace. Georgia residents use Georgia Access.

Review your doctors, prescriptions, premiums, deductibles, and out-of-pocket costs before selecting a plan. Update your application with your expected household income and household changes for 2027; financial assistance depends on eligibility. Provide any requested verification documents by the deadline and pay your first premium directly to the insurance company for coverage to begin.

Outside Open Enrollment, you generally need a Special Enrollment Period to enroll in or change Marketplace coverage. Qualifying events may include losing eligible health coverage, marriage, having a baby, or certain moves; deadlines and documentation requirements apply. Eligible people can apply for Medicaid or CHIP throughout the year. A request for help through this website does not submit a Marketplace application or enroll you in coverage.

Understand your Marketplace coverage options

The Health Insurance Marketplace offers individual and family health coverage under the Affordable Care Act. Licensed Agent can help you understand available plans, enrollment opportunities, and the steps involved in applying.

Financial assistance depends on eligibility

Premium tax credits and cost-sharing reductions may be available based on household circumstances and applicable rules. Savings are not guaranteed. The Marketplace makes eligibility determinations based on your application.

Compare coverage carefully

Review premiums, deductibles, out-of-pocket limits, provider networks, prescription drug coverage, and plan documents. Update your application when household or income information changes, using the appropriate secure process.

Enrollment and life changes

You generally enroll during an Open Enrollment Period unless you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period. Dates and rules may vary by state and situation. Visit HealthCare.gov or your state Marketplace for current information.

Your consent comes first

Submitting a request for help only asks us to respond. It does not authorize access to a Marketplace application, application changes, or enrollment. Any required enrollment-assistance consent and application review will be handled separately through an appropriate process.
